Introducing the Solar ScaleUp Challenge: a global effort to accelerate innovation in large-scale solar.
The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) and Greenhouse are partnering together to launch the challenge. This is a global call-out for innovation and collaboration to boost the deployment of large-scale solar.
Solar photovoltaic technology is vital to the renewable energy transition and decarbonisation. We’re looking for innovative new ways to solve key barriers in solar deployment: reducing the cost of installation, operation and maintenance.
Our challenge invites innovators, thinkers, engineers, developers and financiers around the world to team up and find solutions to scale up solar and drive down costs.
Successful proposals will receive funding from a pool of $100 million from ARENA’s Advancing Renewables Program.
